Durational Performance by Nadia Salom Title: Sleeping on Books Location: Braunschweig University of Art – Library Duration: 6 hours, June 1st, 2011 Description: I collect books I am interested in and gather them into the shape of a small bed. The subject matters included are art history, performance art, the performative speech act, philosophy, linguistics, semiotic, psychology, and feminism. I deprive myself from sleep during the previous night and the next day I bring the books into the library and sleep for a total of 6 hours. Video: Philipp Frackmann
