I just received an email that describes your project and the truth is that I felt identified with him.

Upon my arrival in the Netherlands conducted a series of papers trying to analyze the cultural clash between my country of origin and of adoption, which I think might interest you. For example, in the part Don Quixote van den Haag, I designed a lark porcelain that appeared in the decorative motifs of pottery ‘delf-blaue’ typical of Holland, with the representation of a Don Quixote fighting the windmills in this case against the Dutch windmills. This material, made a video in which he practiced the castanets and the ‘shock’ culture.

Acabo de recibir un correo en que describes tu proyecto y la verdad es que me he sentido identificado con él.

A mi llegada a Holanda realizé una serie de trabajos que trataban de analizar el choque cultural entre mi pais de origen y el de adopción, que pienso podrían interesarte. Por ejemplo, en la pieza Don Quijote van den Haag, diseñé unas castañuelas de porcelana en la que aparecian los motivos decorativos de la cerámica ‘delf-blaue’ tipica de Holanda, con la representación de un Don Quijote luchando contra los molinos, en este caso contra los molinos holandeses. Con este material, realizé un video en el que ponía en práctica las castañuelas y este ‘choque’ cultural.
