The situation is simple. On July 10th 2011, from 13:30 pm, in Bilbao, a group of people dressed in festive costumes, were putting prosthesis with oak seedlings at their bodies, consequently walking towards the Guggenheim Museum. They were acting as any other visitor / tourist, looking at the architecture of the Museum, admiring the monumental building. Then they went to the entrance with plants in their bodies, trying to enter the inner space of the Museum.
If the entry would be allowed or not, that is what makes possible the uncertain future of the encounters between art and life.
Location: Spazio Grossi. Walk to the Guggenheim Museum.
About Roble / oak
The choice of oak tree or oak (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quercus_robur), is due to its symbolic importance as traditional tree of Basque identity and autonomy.
In 1936, it was under an oak tree, the Tree of Guernica, the first head of the autonomous government took office in Guernica, from the new status of Basque autonomy. In 1937 the Oak of Guernica escaped German bombing and became a symbol of freedom during the civil war. It was because of this war that Picasso painted the famous work Guernica.

A ação ROBLE EXPORT IMPORT é um desdobramento da ação MANGUEIRA EXPORT IMPORT – http://linhaesegmento.blogspot.com/2011/04/acao-mangueira-export-import-quinta.html
A situação é simples. Em Bilbao, no dia 10 de julho de 2011, a partir das 13:30hs., um grupo de pessoas, vestindo trajes de festa, acoplam em seus corpos, como próteses, mudas de Roble. Na seqüência, saem caminhando em direção ao Guggenheim Museo. Em seu entorno, como qualquer visitante/turista, circulam, olham a arquitetura do Museu, admiram a monumentalidade da construção. Em seguida, se dirigem à entrada e, com as plantas em seus corpos, tentam entrar no espaço interno do Museu.
Se será permitida a entrada ou não, é o que movimenta o devir dos possíveis e incertos encontros entre arte e vida.
Saída: Spazio Grossi. Caminhada até o Guggenheim Museo.
Sobre o Roble
A escolha da árvore Roble, ou Carvalho (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quercus_robur), é devido a sua importância simbólica como tradicional árvore da identidade e autonomia basca. Foi debaixo de um roble, a Árvore de Guernica, que em 1936 o primeiro chefe de governo autônomo tomou posse em Guernica, a partir do novo estatuto de autonomia basca. Símbolo de liberdade, o Roble de Guernica escapou ao bombardeio alemão, em1937, durante a guerra civil. Foi devido a esta guerra que Picasso pintou a célebre obra GUERNICA.
