Made in Noble China part 2
Colleagues performers are invited to participate in “Made in NOBLE China” a performance concept by Wolf Wolfsmoon.
For our collective performance we want you freely to interpret the title “Made in Noble China”. The only condition we request is that youuse a “suitcase”, a “travel case” or something similar, with the title Made in NOBLE China on it. Like Abtffn did at the Brandenburger Tor in Berlin.
The invitation:
Dear colleagues,
We want to invite you to a new collective performance, called “Made in Noble China”. In December 2010 in Oslo, Norway, the Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his life dedication of the defence of the human rights in China.
The reaction of China, as many of you are familiar with, was protesting against the award as well as they tried to manipulate a lot of countries not to show up at the Nobel Peace Prize Award Ceremony. China has really become the factory of the world, the bank of the world and soon maybe they will be the police of the world.
Wolfsmoon was speaking and shouting with a monotone voice “Made in Noble China, a prayer for peace is the price” while he was carrying his hawker’s tray filled with headless dolls. One doll´s head had a sealed mouth.
This performance took place at and in front of the Nobel Peace Prize Centre in Oslo, Norway. It was the 10 th of December 2010, the day the Nobel Peace Prize Committee was “delivering” the award to Lui Xiaobo.
For our collective performance we want you freely to interpret the title “Made in Noble China”. The only condition we request is that youuse a “suitcase”, a “travel case” or something similar, with the title Made in NOBLE China on it. Like Agnes did at the Brandenburger Tor in Berlin.
This collective performance is going to be shown on 2visual4arts.wordpress.com and at some other places we are negotiating with.
Greetings,
Agnes Btffn and Wolf Wolfsmoon
